Some people don’t want a group class. They want something that fits who they are, their body, their rhythm, their life right now. Private sessions are for people who are ready to go deeper.
Who this is for
You feel the weight of a demanding life in your body. You work hard, think a lot, and somewhere along the way your body became something you manage rather than something you inhabit. You’re not looking for a gym. You want something slower, more intelligent — a practice that actually reaches you.
You’re going through a change. A transition in work, relationships, or sense of direction. You know that what you need isn’t just talk. You want to move through it — literally. The body often knows before the mind does.
You’re an artist or creative. You work with ideas, images, or performance, and you feel the need for a physical practice that feeds your work rather than distracting from it. You want presence, not just fitness.
You already meditate or do yoga — and you want more. You’ve built a foundation. Now you’re looking for something that goes further: a tradition with depth, a practice that continues to open rather than flatten.
If any of this resonates, keep reading.
What we work with
The sessions draw on Qigong Hunyuan and Tai Chi — two practices from the Chinese internal arts tradition that I have studied and taught for over ten years. But the sessions are not about learning a fixed sequence of movements. They are about developing a relationship with your own body: its energy, its patterns, its intelligence.
Depending on who you are and what you need, we might work with:
- Slow, meditative movement to regulate the nervous system and release chronic tension
- Breathwork and awareness exercises to restore internal balance
- Partner practice (Tuishou — Push Hands) as a way of exploring softness, sensitivity, and presence
- Somatic reflection: understanding how your daily habits and rhythms affect your vitality and emotional state
- The development of a personal daily practice you can carry into your life
My background in philosophy and twenty years of experience as an artist, coach, and dramaturg shape how I listen and how I guide. Each session is a conversation — between your body and mine, between what you know and what you haven’t yet discovered.
How it works
Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes and can take place:
- At your home in Berlin — I come to you
- At my place — a quiet, personal space for practice
- Outdoors — parks and open air, weather permitting
- Online — for those outside Berlin or who prefer remote sessions
There is no fixed program. We begin where you are. Over time, if you choose to work with me on a longer basis, we design something together — a rhythm, a practice, a thread of continuity that supports real transformation.
For those who want deeper commitment, I also offer a three-month individual mentoring program — twelve sessions of two hours each, combining somatic training, reflective coaching, and the design of a daily practice tailored entirely to your life.
A note on who I am
My name is Diego Agulló. I am not primarily a fitness instructor. I am someone who has spent twenty years thinking seriously about the body — as an artist, as a researcher, as a practitioner. My work in philosophy, contemporary dance, performance, and publishing has taught me that the body is not a machine to be optimised. It is a living field where thought, emotion, creativity, and presence meet. That understanding is at the centre of everything I offer. When I work with someone privately, I bring all of that — not just the technique.
Get in touch
If you’re curious, the simplest thing is to write to me. We can have a brief conversation about where you are and what you’re looking for, and see if working together makes sense.
